House Cup 2017: Team Spirited Away

One of the most prolific films from the Studio Ghibli stable, Spirited Away is a charming story that follows a young girl named Chihiro. She is taken into the spirit world by a witch named Yubaba after her parents eat cursed food, turning them into pigs. The film follows her journey to go back to the mortal world and reclaim her parents. A take on the classical Alice in Wonderland and/or Wizard of Oz type story where an ordinary girl is taken into a fantasy world. The film introduces a large ensemble of fantastically drawn characters, that will surely engage even the most jaded audience. It still remains as the only traditionally animated film to have won the Best Animated Feature Academy Award, and is so critically acclaimed it often nears the top of the 21st century's greatest films rankings. With such strong credentials Team Spirited Away most certainly has the fire power to compete with the lions of the Pride Lands, and our team of dragon taming vikings. It may be the last to be announced, but is certainly not least.

Angel is a known capable captain, having saved Coruscant from being merged with the other teams in the last house cup. Team Spirited Away are in a capable pair of hands. Joining Angel is a newcomer to the house cup and one of GTFs newest established members Kaspar. I have being impressed with the way Kaspar has embraced the forum community since he joined in January and have no doubts he will be a more than capable vice to Angel. Joining the Kaspar in the vice captain role is a GTF 'old fag' Steven.C. Steven is a well established member of the forum and is well known for getting involved in games such as Mafia. I'm sure Steven will be a great asset to his team.
