And now that our last challenge for this year's House Cup has wrapped up, I'd like to place on record my thanks to everyone who put themselves out to contribute to not only the Lip Sync Challenge but all of the challenges, impromptu quizes and Popularite games. GTFers have always been and continue to be an incredibly resourceful and talented bunch and this year's competition proves that once again. Most of all though, this year's House Cup (again) brought the populous of this site together in a way that no other event here is able. Personally, I've met some of the most incredible people here over the last couple of months - it's extraordinary.

Finally I'd like to thank Jack for inviting me to once again be part of this (for one last time) and my fellow Hosts/Judges. I'd especially like to congratulate Ethan without whom and his dedication, this competition would likely not have even gotten off the ground. Balancing his private life commitments with everything he had to do to keep this competition running is a sacrifice for which this entire community (whether they recognise it or not) is truly indebted to Ethan.

I will still be posting my entry today. Was having hard time getting the video done, since tried doing parts during night (theme) and it really didnt work out that well.

Hope you could still mark my upcoming entry, regardless it wouldnt make it into top places or not.

I dont care if its late, I put work in this every single day and night that I had time to. Didnt have time untill now to finish it due to work and sleep. Moreover, the programme I use cannot even load 30s+ videos so had to crop it and download it every single time to get it to that editor. And mix them in another one.

Edit: woke up at 5 am and been going all the time just to get this done.

In the spirit of the cup I'll let you post but I cannot and will not force any judge who has already judged the sync to go back and judge yours.

You had 3 more hours to edit the post than anyone else?

Ofc it sucks that you couldn´t handle the technical side, but you had 3 weeks time to test the program and how it handles large clips or whatnot. 3 weeks should had been enough time to make a back up plan in case the editing program goes down too.

You did not manage use your time well and it is way too much to justify 3 hours by "technical issues"

Ok, so you didnt test the program on the laptop you were working with?

It was mainly about them being careless, not being late. Btw ppl do have back-up plans for important projects, at least preliminary ones. The judges will do what the judges will do, and we should all respect whatever that is even though we´d disagree for what it would be or not.

As I said before, that was not meant as post is too late = disqualified
rather it possibly might affect judging (and insisting it should equally affect on everyone)

Ahaha it took me way longer than "today"

Due to having trouble getting video match with music.. 1st app shows music in diff spot than 2nd app in one part of the video. And only happened in that one spot, in no other parts it happened. There was no time to edit it out.. so will post today when I get home from work, aka in the evening

now it only downloads and then it will be posted

I had to screw sleep from 3 nights in a row, during days had no time, but my entry is finally here:

The song I chose is Faded - cover by Bars and melody.. I chose the song for it is energetic and I vastly prefer this to original version.
