Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

A beautiful and tragic piece of storytelling. Frances McDormand deserves a fucking Oscar for her performance - she was captivating, emotional and compelling.

The Perks of being a Wallflower

This one moment when you know you're not a sad story. You are alive. And you stand up and see the lights on the buildings and everything that makes you wonder. And you're listening to that song on that drive with the people you love most in this world. And in this moment I swear - we are infinite.

One of the best endings I've ever watched and it also made me cry considering that a similar thing happened to me, and so I reflect myself a lot in this movie.

I watched Kingsman: The Golden Circle yesterday and it was easily one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The first one was a great balance of action and comedy that leaned into parody territory here and there and was, overall, just a lot of fun to watch. The second one was just... so bad...

Blade Runner 2049 is one of the most stunning movies I ever saw. Better than the original even.

I personally thought the 2nd was just less good than the first, but still a lot of brainless fun. :dunno: Bit too long and unnecessary in some parts, but it was very similar to the first in terms of style and energy, far from a bad movie.

The Shape of Water.

Fuck its a beautiful film. The visuals are stunning, and everything about it is just so... tragic yet beautiful at the same time. The way that emotions - particularly love - is depicted with no spoken words, instead told through Elisa's signing and facial expressions and the creature's eyes is just so clever and emotional to watch.
